Tawan Davis

Tawan Davis is a graduate of Georgetown University, Oxford University and the Harvard Business School. He has served on the boards of the New York Urban League, Harlem Hospital, and the New Horizons Children’s Advocacy Board, and was also appointed to the New York Utility Board by Mayor DeBlasio.

Since 2016, Mr. Davis has been CEO of The Steinbridge Group, a privately held real estate investment and asset management company. Here, he’s responsible for overseeing the group’s transaction pipeline and day-to-day operations. The company is based in New York and Philadelphia and invests on behalf of a number of individuals, high net-worth families, trusts, sovereign wealth funds, pension funds, and other institutional investors. For decades, The Steinbridge Group’s partners, principals, and primary investors have made investments across a range of asset classes, while the company’s principals have developed, invested in, leased, and managed over $12 billion worth of real estate (of institutional quality) throughout the US, the Middle East, and Europe.

Prior to founding The Steinbridge Group, Mr. Davis served as vice president of real estate transactions and a head of public private partnerships for the New York City Economic Development Corporation. While in this post, he led, negotiated, and executed New York City’s largest land and building transactions, worth several billion dollars.
